About the course

Join Shane Academy for an exclusive one-day mock exam viva course designed to prepare FRANZCR part 2 candidates for the upcoming OSCER exam.

Format

  • Join Shane Academy for an exclusive one-day mock exam viva course designed to prepare FRANZCR part 2 candidates for the upcoming OSCER exam.
  • Scheduled for Saturday, 30th May 2026, the course offers an immersive experience with seven examiners conducting simultaneous Zoom breakout rooms.
  • Each room will have one candidate and several observers with each viva lasting 25 minutes, mirroring the real exam in the new OSCER pattern.
  • Confidential results, including individual marks and pass or fail outcomes, will be shared with candidates alongside constructive feedback.
  • The course wraps up with a two-hour combined teaching session where delegates can review and discuss each case while learning tips and tricks for exam survival.

Exam Candidates

We offer subscriptions for exam candidates with limited seats of 7 in each specialty. To secure your spot, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

  • 1 mock exam candidate seat: 155 AUD
  • Full package ( Exam candidate in all 7 stations ) - 20% discount 1085 AUD 868 AUD
  • Full package - 50% discount. Be an exam candidate for all 8 vivas. 2400 AUD 1200 AUD - till 30th April only.
  • Limited package (Exam candidate in  6 stations) - 15% discount 930 AUD 791 AUD .

    We recommend the full package for first-time examinees, while the limited package is suitable for repeating candidates.

Observers

As an observer, you will be assigned to a specific exam candidate and be seated in the respective exam room. Please note that the chat feature will be disabled during the mock exam.

  • Single Observer Seat : 76 AUD
  • All-Access Observer Pass (20% Early Bird Discount) : 532 AUD 426 AUD. If you subscribe before May 20th)
  • All-Access Observer Pass (10% Discount if you subscribe after May 21th): 532 AUD 479 AUD 
  • All access observer pass - 20% discount after 24th April : 532 AUD 479 AUD ( from 1st May).
  • Limited Access observer pass ( 4 or more components) - no discount

Timing Instructions

  • 09:00 AM AEST - Viva Starts
  • 11:00 AM AEST - Coffee break 15 minutes
  • 12:45 PM AEST - Viva Finishes Lunch break 30 minutes
  • 01:15 to 03:15 PM AEST - Case discussion 20 minutes by each examiner
